About The Designer

As an Indigenous Muslim female raised in the city of Philadelphia, Asma Bibi has always been inspired by the arts and fashion. At a young age, she recognized the lack of modern yet modest clothing for young Muslim females. With the limited options available on the market and the influence of social media, Asma Bibi founded Hijabi Pop in 2017 and launched the online store in 2018, one month after graduating from college. She has since been featured in several publications and chosen as the 4th Hijabi fashion designer on Project Runway: Season 18.
